| dc.description.abstract | This phenomenological study focuses the expectations and perceptions of teachers in the classroom about the benefits and outcomes of Physical Education in Primary Level. In addition, the focus of this study is to know if the effects on learning and acting in the classroom is beneficial and allows children
to develop their social skills and encourages certain children to achieve success in a specific learning environment. Hence, to gather more insights and interpretations about perceiving of what benefits and outcomes as contribution in teaching, we conducted a qualitative research and interviewed 14
participants, 7 for in-depth interview and 7 for one focus group. Triangulation of data was made through the data sources of the in-depth interview, focus group discussion and we the researchers as the third informants. The findings were classified into major themes in the different experiences of classroom teachers
in PE class. These are: Minor Physical Activities, Outdoor Activities, and Attentiveness and Participatory Level. The findings identified on how they cope up with their experiences are: Peer Guidance, Being observant, and Being dependent. And lastly, the findings identified about their insights on the benefits and outcomes of PE are: Easily adapt on activities, Develop social relationship skills, Responsiveness, Being resourceful, and Implementing Wellness. Moreover, these findings add to the benefits and outcomes of teaching PE in primary school, broadening the individual's perspectives. | en_US |
