Abstract
According to the World Tourism Organization (2020), there were 1.5 billion foreign tourist arrivals reported in 2019 globally, indicating the rapidly growing hospitality trade. Resort hotels are one of the fastest-growing segments of tourism attractions and rapidly growing in number, diversity, and popularity since the economic boom of the 1960s. Service through a good environment directly impacts individuals, which made several researchers note a relationship between physical environment and satisfaction. The study is Quantitative research and Evidence based research using CASBEE or Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency to assess the environment of resort hotels. The study showed a relationship between the physical environment and customer satisfaction with environmental dimensions that affect the perceived quality, affecting the satisfaction and behavior of users, assisting operators and professionals in the design and construction field in the tourism industry.
