To explore the concept of introversion, the researchers delved into this study through
creative method, specifically an animated short film, Shrinking Violet, to provide
insights. Roughly lasting for approximately 5 minutes with fused visuals of 3D
backgrounds and environment with digital 2D animation along with dialogue and
soundtracks, the film highlighted a young introverted protagonist. The researchers
intended to normalize introversion, differentiating it from antisocial behavior, and
showing introverts are capable of social interaction. The promoted insights are an
optimistic prompt for a healthy, open discussion on introversion. In case of possible
future creative works, similar to this research, the researchers recommend exploring a
live action film, music video, and a longer animated film to promote their concept.
