Abstract
The study focused on teacher morale and self-esteem of public elementary school teachers whose objectives include ascertaining the level of teacher morale of public elementary school teachers; level of self-esteem of public elementary school teachers; determining significant relationship between teacher morale and self esteem of the respondents; and determining which domains of teacher morale could greatly affect the self-esteem of the respondents. The quantitative non-experimental design utilizing correlational technique was used in the study of which respondents were 217 public elementary school teachers of Lupon West District for the school year 2015-2016. The study was conducted on the month of November, 2016. Pearson product (r) and Linear Regression analysis were the statistical tools used for the data treatment. The universal sampling technique was used to give everyone in the population of interest a chance to become the respondents of the study. The findings of the study revealed high level of teacher morale and high level of self esteem of the respondents. The correlation between two variables of the study revealed significant relationship between teacher morale and self-esteem of the respondents. It is found in the study that rapport among teachers best influenced self-esteem of public elementary school teachers.
