Teacher efficacy and attitude towards factors affecting learning
Abstract
This study aimed to determine which domain of teachers’ efficacy best influence attitude
towards factors affecting learning. The respondents of the study were 151 public
secondary teachers from Baganga Districts in the SY 2015-2016 selected by slovins
formula using the simple random sampling.Quantitative-non experimental design was
used employing the correlational technique. Mean, Pearson r and Regression were the
statistical tools used in the analysis and interpretation of the data. Results revealed that
the respondents had a high level of teachers’ efficacy and high level of attitudes towards
factors affecting learning. Data showed that there was significant relationship between
teachers’ efficacy and attitude towards factors affecting learning. Student engagement
was the domain that significantly influences attitudes toward factors affecting learning.
