Relationship management of supervisors and organizational citizenship behavior of employees in banking industry
Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the influence of relationship management
of supervisors on organizational citizenship behavior of employees in the banking
industry. The first variable was indicated by developing others, inspirational
leadership, conflict management, change catalyst, teamwork and collaboration
and influence. Organizational citizenship behavior as a key aspect of employees’
discretionary behavior, and very crucial in bank activities had the following
indicators: altruism, conscientiousness, sportsmanship and courtesy. There were
one hundred two participants from three selected banks. Descriptive statistics
and regression analysis were used to test the hypothesis of no relationship
between the two variables. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics,
pearson r and regression. Results of the study showed that relationship
management of supervisors had positive and significant influence on
organizational behavior of employees.
