Grooming of teachers and classroom attention of students

Abstract
The main objective of the study was to determine which domain in grooming of teachers significantly influences the classroom attention of the students. The respondents of the study were the 265grade six students of 10 elementary schools of Kapalong West District, Davao del Norte in the school year 2015-2016. The study used quantitative non-experimental employing the correlational technique. Adopted modified questionnaire was used in gathering the data, with Mean, Pearson-r and Regression as statistical tools. Results showed that grooming of teachers was very high. The classroom attention of the students was high. There was a significant correlation between grooming of teachers and the classroom attention of the students. Finally, the domain of grooming of teachers that significantly influenced classroom attention of students was organizational grooming.
