Abstract
The aim of this study was to ascertain which domain of ethical work climate best influences organizational commitment of librarians. The researcher utilized the descriptive-quantitative research design approach employing correlational technique. Through stratified random sampling, 105 professional librarians were surveyed using the adapted questionnaires. To analyze the data, Mean, Pearson r and regression were used. The findings showed that librarians had a high overall degree of ethical work climate and organizational commitment. Further, ethical work climate was found to be significantly correlated to organizational commitment of librarians. Hence, the null hypothesis is rejected. When reverted, it was shown that among the indicators of the ethical work climate of librarians only the collective moral judgment was the domain which best influences the organizational commitment. Keywords: library and information science, ethical work climate, organizational commitment, Philippines
