The data was collected using questionnaires. The obtained data were also analyzed systematically using descriptive statistics and was presented using tables. The overall mean equivalent for the attitude of students towards studying the subject is high (3.65). This revealed that the attitude of students towards studying history and government is favorable. The result interpretation for the significance difference of the attitude when analyzed by gender is 1.63 for the t-value, this indicates that it is greater than the significant level of .05 and .107 for the p-value in which it indicates that it is greater than the significant level of .05 (1.63 and .017>.05). This implies that the attitude of grade 8 students when analyzed by gender is less significantly different.
