The study was to determine the work motives for employment and how it can
affect the organizational behaviour of the employees toward the hospitality job.
There were 100 hotel employees taken as the respondents of the study. The
researchers utilized the descriptive research design and used Mean,
Percentage, Frequency and Pearson’s r as the statistical tools of the study. The
results of the study are presented as follows: majority of the respondents are
Single, Females within 18-27 age brackets and with the job position of Room
Attendant; the level of work motives among hospitality workers on selected
hotels in Davao City is high and the level of organizational behaviour on
selected hotels in Davao City is high; and work motives has a positive strong
correlation to organizational behaviour.
