dc.description.abstractThis study was entitled “A PHENOMENOLOGICAL STUDY ON STUDENTS’ EXPERIENCES IN MODULAR STUDY IN JOSE N. CABUNILAS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL”, used a qualitative research design which is the most convenient for the researchers to analyze the problem of a certain phenomenon, and the researchers’ uses a phenomenological method to conduct this study. The respondent of this study were the 10 pupils of Jose N. Cabunilas Elementary School who were officially enrolled in modular distance learning. Results show that the experiences of pupils in modular distance learning are both positive and negative, they experience negative while in modular learning such as financial related concerns, environmental distractions, and visual presentation concern. Student found it stressful and depressive because it is hard for them to adjust in this new learning set-up. However, they also experience parent assistance, who help them answer the module, modular effectiveness which help them to learn despite this economic a humanitarian crisis and modular distance learning foster them to become self-independent in which it could help them to become responsible in doing their module, which are he positive experiences of pupils in modular distance learning. Based on the result, the researchers recommended that parents should give more emphasis on helping their pupils in modular distance learning. They must also motivate their pupils to do their tasks and assignments in the module. In terms of negative experiences like environmental distractions parents must eliminate interruptions at home during educational time, building up a set timetable and a spot at home where pupils can learn with no interruptions and can work on their emphasis on the main jobs. Parents are also recommended to guide and encourage their children to do the tasks on the module on their own so that pupils could build self-independence.en_US
