This study directly determines the satisfaction and return intention on Davao
Food Tourism. Moreover, the study sought to determine the satisfaction of
first time tourists and returnees in terms of food quality, value of food, food
availability and it’s return intention. This study used descriptive correlational
research and used a likert-scale survey questionnaire. it was measured using
frequency count, mean ANOVA, t-test and Pearson – r. The results were
revealed as follows: Majority of the respondents are female ages 16-20. The
food tourism satisfaction was rated satisfied by the respondents. There was
significant relationship in tourist satisfaction and return intention among the
respondents. Thus, it further means that satisfied tourist were likely to revisit
again at Roxas Night Market. It would mean that the local government would
continue to operate businesses in Roxas Night Market and tourist love to
revisit again, therefore there would be an income for the vendors and also
more income for Davao City as a whole. In addition, if there is a positive
growth of food tourism in Davao City, there would be a high rate of
employment.
