Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the level of motivational factors of the baristas in Davao City. Level of motivational factors that required how the employees are satisfied in their work at different daily situation. Specifically, this study endeavored to seek answer to the baristas coming from selected coffee shops in Davao City. The research used descriptive method and formulated survey questionnaires as instrument to gather pertinent data from respondents. Result revealed that the level of motivational factors of baristas in Davao City was very high in the indicators Relationship with Subordinates, Work Condition and Pay. For the indicator Supervision, the result was high. Overall, the level of motivational factors of the baristas in Davao City was very high. This implies that baristas are motivated to work when they are comfortable working with their co-workers, working in a comfortable work stations and become more productive when their pay was fairly given and will take overtime or extend their time to work. Furthermore, in the indicator supervision, this implies that good supervision can lead to excellent work performance. Keywords: Motivating Factors, Barista, Coffee Shops
