dc.description.abstract | The study on the factors influencing customer retention in filipino restaurants in
Davao City was conducted in order to identify the said factors and determine the
different reactions of the respondents whether they share the same perspective
or not using Frequency Count, Percentage, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Mean,
t-test, and ANOVA. he outcome of the study yielded the following result: The
identified factors are as follows: Quality service; Convenient with Affordable
Cuisine; Tangibles; Physically Handicapped Friendly and Deaf-Mute Friendly
and there is no significant difference on the significant difference on the factors
influencing customer retention in filipino restaurants in Davao City when
analyzed by age, sex, and marital status while there is a significant difference on
the factors influencing customer retention in filipino restaurants in Davao City
when analyzed by educational attainment. The implication of the study is for the
restaurant owners to identify the factors, which can be their basis on making
innovations that would compete with the global standard restaurants, considering
that Davao City is a city that is now frequented by the tourists because of the
obvious reason; it is the home of the president of the Philippines.
