This study was conducted at Tagum City, Davao del Norte. The study was conducted to determine the relationship self-efficacy in coaching and the performance of athletes. The study used non-experimental and descriptive-correlation as an approach in this type of research. This study adopted stratified total sample technique in conducting the data. The result on the level of self-efficacy in coaching revealed the frequent involvement of students in terms of strategy, motivation, technique and character. The result also showed level in performance of athletes in terms of skills, strength, endurance and recovery. With the results gathered from the study, it implied that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy in coaching and the performance of athletes in UM Tagum. The researchers used a total sample technique to eliminate biases in the conduct of the study and we, the researchers as the third informants. Moreover, to the future researchers who are interested in conducting similar studies on determining self-efficacy in coaching and the performance of athletes. Overall, it is a useful source for schools that will be used by the coaches and administrator of the college.
