The study dealt on the Sport Engagement as Predictor in the Level of life skills of student in UM Tagum College. The primary goal of the study was to determine the significant influence of Sports Engagement on Life Skills of BPE students utilizing quantitative no experimental study with 200 BPE students from BPE department in UM Tagum College as respondents of the study. Mean, Pearson (r) were the statistical tools used for the data treatment.
Results showed a high level of sport engagement of BPE students in terms of dedication, confidence and enjoyment of BPE students. The study also showed a high level of life skills of BPE students in terms of effective communication skills, self- awareness and self-esteem and Life style domain. Moreover, there was significant relationship between sport engagement and life skills of BPE students. On the other hand, the results of the Pearson (r) correlation show that that there is a significant relationship between sport engagement and life skills with an r-value of 0.672* and p- value of <.001. Since it is a positive correlation, this exemplifies that when sports engagement is high the life skills is also high.
