The fear of crime has provided an untimely amount of attention in the form of research in recent times; however, there are still aspects that this field has remained unanswered. These drive us to creating a new view of approach towards the perceptions and experience of the residents of Tagum City and how fear of crime affect their daily lifestyles. There are many findings came out in this research; like for example “we found out that police were everywhere to be seen and doing their patrolling.” This may imply that police officers can definitely deter perpetrator doing their criminal acts. And by that, the police officers are good on reprimand and patrol especially in curfew hours. It implies police officers are doing their job for the safety of the residents of Tagum City.
