The findings of the study indicated a significant level of the driving force, pressure, and state on the carrying capacity in the development of sustainable tourism destinations in Davao City. Whilst the profile of the respondents was significant and had a significantly different perspective on the carrying capacity in the development of sustainable tourism destinations in Davao City. An implication study on carrying capacity in the development of sustainable tourism destinations in Davao City, focusing on driving forces, pressures, and states, offers valuable insights for both theoretical frameworks and practical management strategies. Theoretical implications revolve around understanding the dynamic interplay between driving forces, such as tourism demand and economic incentives, pressures, such as environmental degradation and cultural disruption, and the resulting states, including ecosystem health and socio-cultural integrity. By examining these factors within a carrying capacity framework, researchers can deepen their understanding of the complex systems dynamics shaping sustainable tourism development. Practically, this study informs destination managers and policymakers about the need to implement proactive measures to manage carrying capacity effectively. This includes strategies to regulate visitor flows, mitigate environmental impacts, and safeguard cultural heritage, ensuring the long-term sustainability and resilience of tourism destinations.
