Lubi habitat disaster-resilient socialized housing : an application of a safety perception assessment on the UN-habitat for humanity program in Barangay Lower Glad, Midsayap
Abstract
Over two hundred years, public libraries in were designed and developed as civic spaces that preserved and provided services for their local communities. .They provide access to vast resources of documents and knowledge since they are safe and secure venues. Many observations noticed that people hinder looking for a place to study, mostly they are found in fast food chains and other houses of their classmates, and they find it uneasy, knowing that there is a public library already existed however it hinders them to allocate and travel. However, there are still some prefers to use public library especially the people taking masters and students for their ensured information and data sourcing. Nowadays people preferred a modern public library that is appealing and a comfortable place where they can do their work, peacefully and figure out new stuffs while not feeling like being compressed. As a result, the researcher will propose a paper that intends to investigate patron attributes, based on its architecture and facility features for the public library. This study aims to discover the lacking and challenges of the facility and services of the public library that may affect for the users and offer a solution for the public library’s future improvement. The study will use Descriptive Quantitative Analysis in determining the patron attributes on the public library based on its architecture and facility features in Cotabato City.
