The well-being of the children is a sign of healthy child development. Children's well- being is at risk when they experience abuse and neglect, which is needed for their general physical, emotional, and mental health. Children who are victims of abuse and neglect are frequently cared for in shelter care. Shelter care for abused children is often overlooked in a research setting. The study aims to assess the built environment and the well being of children in Balay Dangupan and determine 1.) the level of I.) safety and security, control and privacy, and comfort of each of the spaces stated in the built environment, and 2.) What is the level of children's well-being regarding I.) psychological, social, and physical? The study is a mixed method that uses assessment and in-depth interviews to gather data. In general, the result of the weighted mean score of each space and well-being factor is at moderate to high descriptive levels. Numerous specific sub-items within the factor have levels of "Very Low" and "Low." Overall, the result of the study attains statistics and input that could identify the condition of the built environment and understand the children's well-being and need.
