Abstract
The primary objective of this descriptive-quantitative research is to determine the anxiety level and factors influencing the anxiety level of MedTech students at the University of Mindanao in Davao City during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the massive difference in anxiety levels according to demographic variables. The research instrument was a self-created questionnaire survey. The participants responded to the study by indicating their age, gender, and year level. The survey included 15 anxiety-related questions that measured anxiety and the factors that can affect anxiety. The following statistics were used: mean, absolute/relative frequency, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVA. According to the results, the respondents' overall anxiety level is 3.51, implying that they are experiencing a moderate level of anxiety. The data showed that the mean value of three indicators was close to each other, indicating that the factors influencing the participant's anxiety caused a moderate level of anxiety, implying that financial condition, virtual learning, and fear of contagion had considerable influence on the respondent's anxiety. Furthermore, data analysis revealed no statistically significant difference in the students' anxiety levels regardless of age or gender. Nevertheless, the results indicated a significant difference in anxiety levels among students based on their year level.
