TikTok has become one of the most popular social media platforms over the past years. The surprising increase of TikTok users was due to its distinct way of entertainment. However, this platform hides numerous underlying legal concerns that alarmed several countries which resulted in TikTok platform to be banned in their countries and prohibit its citizens to use this. This study focuses to determine if TikTok usage had a significant relationship towards criminality concerns. This study is non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive
correlational approach and explored and interpreted TikTok usage and criminality concerns in the students of the University of Mindanao, Davao City. The researchers utilized simple random sampling to obtain the data from 400 respondents. The study found that TikTok usage and criminality concerns had a moderate direct relationship. The increase in TikTok usage may also lead to an increase in criminality concerns.
