In a world facing the crisis of exhausting natural resources, green building has become the ethical approach in the construction industry to save the planet from further degradation. Using sustainable materials and properly utilizing energy and water resources has become the trademark of a Green Building. A green-designed structure reduces the negative effects of the building on the environment and human health, achieving harmony in the coexistence of man and nature. This study will design a three-story multi-purpose green building in Barangay 76-A, Bucana, Davao City. This research aims to provide civil engineering works that
include architectural and structural designs using advanced software like AutoCAD, STAADPro, and SketchUp to achieve the building that the barangay needs. The study focuses primarily on adopting green design concepts to achieve sustainability and efficiency in building operations, taking into consideration the demands of the barangay as well as the practicality of the design. The researchers developed a designed green building that passed the standards of NSCP 2015 and DPWH Philippine Green Building Code.
