Utilizing banana peel helps reduce biohazard waste. The effects of banana peel have been observed to impact the compressive strength of concrete because banana peel is a well-known source of potassium and is rich in natural fiber. This study aimed to enhance the compressive strength of concrete hollow blocks using powdered banana peel and to utilize the waste product. The samples were fabricated as per DPWH on ASTM C-129 standard for type II of non-load bearing concrete masonry. The concrete mixes had 0%, 5%, 10% 20%, and 25% powdered banana peel. A compressive strength test was performed, and the following results were obtained, the 5% mixture exceeded the DPWH standard for compressive strength but fell short when compared to the compressive strength of the controlled standard mix. The 10%, 20% and 25% mixture did not pass the DPWH standard for compressive strength and had a lower compressive strength when compared to the standard mix.
