Abstract
The purpose of this undertaking was to explore the lived experiences of 12 married students of UM Peñaplata College randomly selected for an FGD. A phenomenological method was used to gather the experiences concerning a phenomenon, as described by the participants. Through the FGD aided with an interview guide, the findings revealed that all participants believed that they can possibly finish the course because of their commitments and strong motivation to just continue the course even if they are married. the participants, though they are married, still consider that they have to be striving hard to succeed. They look on the bright side of life and take things as opportunities worthy of gratitude. From the perspectives of the participants, one must be optimistic to finish what they have started.
