The title of the research study is "The effect of video presentation of the grade five pupils in learning solar system at Anonang elementary School, Island Garden City of Samal." This research study aimed to determine the effect of video presentation on the grade five pupils in learning solar system at Anonang Elementary School, Island Garden City of Samal. The researchers used quantitative method as a research design. Researchers used two teaching strategies which are traditional type of strategy (Controlled Group) and video presentation (Experimental Group) to determine the learning of twenty-nine (29) respondents about solar system. The prepared test items were designed to measure the competency level of the Grade five (5) students on the lesson about solar system, the test was analyzed and checked to determine the validity and effectiveness of the instrument. The experimental group will expose to use of video presentation while the controlled group use the traditional way of teaching. The findings of study were not significant; therefore, the variation of the mean score of the pretest and posttest implies that the interference of the controlled group has better result in learning solar system. hence, we cannot recommend the video presentation for the students. For the teachers, they may use video presentation as an alternative in teaching. For the future researchers, we cannot recommend the video presentation in teaching solar system but, we suggest video presentation in other aspects. The video presentation may use in different topics and study to be conducted.
