Abstract
The study aimed to determine the "effects of instructional television in learning symbiotic relationship to grade 5 students in Cogon elementary school, IGACOS" employing the descriptive experimental method as research design, simple random sampling technique in determining the number of respondents, questionnaires in gathering data with average weighted mean, and t-test, as statistical tools. It was found out that the level of learning of the grade 5 students in Cogon elementary school using instructional television in their post-test is very satisfactory; there is no significant differences in the post-test result of both experimental and control group in learning symbiotic relationship to grade 5 students in Cogon elementary school using instructional television. Hence, similar study needs to be conducted with wider range of respondents and with the consideration of other factors which may affect the learning of the students. Moreover, school administrators need to use appropriate learning tools which may improve the learning abilities of the students.
