The study is entitled "Selection process of the builders cooperative." The main purpose of this study was to determine the selection process towards applicants. The respondents are the employees of the Builders service cooperative. This method used is descriptive research. The selection strategies used by the Builders service cooperative are drug test where 30 employees undergo in this selection strategy, Resume/Biodata where 28 employees undergo in this selection strategy, NBI clearance where 30 employees undergo in this selection strategy and Entrance exam where 3 employees undergo in this selection strategy. The result of the study implies that Drug test, NBI clearance and resume/biodata have the means 4.93, 5.00 and 4.90 with descriptive equivalent of always; respectively. This means that theses three requirements are strictly implemented at all times by Buildings service Cooperative while entrance examination got a mean rating of 2.23 with a descriptive equivalent of seldom which means that the management of Builders Service cooperative rarely implemented the said requirement. It revealed an overall mean of 4.27 described as often. This implies that the management of Builders Service Cooperative implemented the requirements frequently. It is recommended that the management should strictly implement entrance examination so that they will be selecting the best employees. The management should maintain on requiring resume/biodata of an employee so that they can determine the background of applicant. The employee must need to improve their performance in terms or showing their skills according to their biodata so that the management may give a promotion based on their performances. The researchers may use this research as guide in the conduct or researchers related to this investigation. The Builders should implement background investigation as part of their selection process to fully know the background of their applicants.
