Capital expenditure and financial performance among selected internet café in Panabo City

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between capital expenditure and financial performance among selected internet café in Panabo City. The independent variable of the study was capital expenditure with the indicators of maintenance and expansion. On the other hand, the dependent variable of this study was financial performance. The researchers used the descriptive correlation method and convenience sampling in determining the number of respondents and the statistical tools using the study were Mean and Pearson-r. The result of the computation using r-value is 0.423 associated with the significant value of 0.035 of P-value which is less than the alpha of 0.05. Thus, it was found out that there was a significant relationship between capital expenditure and financial performance among selected internet café in Panabo City. It implies that the capital expenditure in terms of maintenance and expansion has an impact on financial performance. Therefore, capital expenditure could affect the financial performance of the internet café in Panabo City.
