This study entitled spending pattern among the 4P's beneficiaries in Brgy. Peñaplata, Island Garden City of Samal was conducted to determine the spending pattern of the 4p's beneficiaries in Brgy. Peñaplata. Through this study the researchers were able to analyze, evaluate, organize and gather data accordingly. This study was realized with the cooperation of the one-hundred ten (110) 4p's beneficiaries who were residents in Brgy. Peñaplata and the respondents of this business research proposal. A descriptive method of research was employed in this study that was concerned with the description of data and characteristics about a particular population and more concerned with existing certain phenomena or a situation problem. The researchers made survey questionnaire that was checked and validated by the panel of examiner of this study. Based on the data gathered, the researchers found that, first, the 4p's beneficiaries have a few siblings in their family. Second, the 4p's beneficiaries are mostly in adulthood and midlife ages. Third, most of thee 4p's beneficiaries are housewives. Fourth, the 4p's beneficiaries have a low educational attainment. And they have specifically in high school level. Fifth, the 4p's beneficiaries receive a relatively small amount of monetary assistance that will be an additional budget to their household expenses. Sixth, the 4p's beneficiaries spend more on basic goods and services. Particularly in food and education as the biggest in all expenditures. They seem to eat more and spend for the education of their children as food and education expenses is greater than other expenditures. The spending on utilities and clothing is closely relative high but in medical care, transportation, housing, savings and personal care is low.
