This study entitled "Factors affecting saving from spending habits of young professionals employed at local government in Island Garden City of Samal" was conducted to determine the significant relationship between saving and spending habits. Through this study, the researchers were able to analyze, evaluate, organize and gather data thoroughly. This study was realized with the cooperation of one-hundred (100) respondents of young professionals who are employed in Local Government Unit. A descriptive method of research was employed in this study that was concerned with the description of data and characteristics about particular factors affecting the variables. The researcher-made-questionnaire was checked and validated by the panel of examiners of this study. Based on the data gathered, the researchers found that; the savings and spending habits of young professionals save more from their salary and spend more on personal wants as the biggest result in the data; second, in their demographic profile such as civil status, age and length of service does not affect their saving habits; third, in their demographic profile only the family size affect their saving habits; and fourth, in their demographic profile such as civil status, age, family size and length of service does not affect their spending habits.
