Abstract
The study entitled The Level of Service Quality of Water Transport of Davsam and Maewess: A Comparative Study was conducted to determine the significant difference of service quality of water transport Davsam and Maewess. Through the study, the researchers were able to analyze, evaluate, organize and gather the data accordingly. The study was realized with the cooperation of 200 customers for both Davsam and Maewess with a total of 400 respondents who were visibly present in Babak, Island Garden City of Samal and were considered as the respondents of this study. The type of research design that was employed in this study is comparative method. Results of the study implied that level of service quality of water transport of Davsam. Tangibility got the highest mean rating of 3.75 describe as high. Results of the study implied that level of service quality of water transport of Maewess. Tangibility got the highest mean rating of 3.44 describe as high. With those indicators, these clarify that water transportation services of Davsam and Maewess was establish a good services that met customers. The level of service quality of water transport of Davsam and Maewess had an overall T-value of .973 which is greater than the 0.05 degree of significance; thus, hypothesis was accepted.
