Underutilized land in Panabo City: Basis for economic development plan

This research study aimed to craft a planning design for possible opportunities in developing underutilized land in Panabo City and determined the profile of the underutilized land per Barangay determined the potential of the underutilized land for industry, agriculture, commercial, or real estate to promote economic growth and job creation and to developed economic development plan for the underutilized land. This research plan places a high priority on gathering and analyzing quantitative data to give a thorough picture of the state of the phenomenon studied in descriptive research design. The significant contributions of three key informants in the study: regular employees from the City Assessor's Office who conducted assessments and surveys on the underutilized land, personnel from the City Planning Office who gave the secondary data used in this research, and an engineer who evaluated the potential of the underutilized land. There was a unique and valuable chance for development on the underutilized property in Barangay Cagangohan, New Malitbog, San Francisco, and Southern Davao. These places have significant economic and social growth if infrastructure like restaurants, retail centers/ shopping malls, schools, and warehouses/facilities are strategically planned for and invested in.
