Abstract
The study was to determine the relationship between financial literacy and personal financial management. This study involves regular Samal Island City Hall employees identified using the random sampling method. The data was gathered using an adapted survey questionnaire that was approved and validated by the experts. Meanwhile, the design utilized in this study is a quantitative correlational research design to investigate relationships between variables. The findings reveal that financial literacy is very high, which means that Samal Island City Hall employees are financially literate. In the level of personal financial management, the result revealed a very high, which means that their personal financial management is very good. The study's correlational result, whether significant or not, revealed no significant relationship, implying that knowledge of financial concepts and principles does not necessarily translate into effective financial behavior.
