Abstract
This phenomenological study aims to investigate and analyze the experiences encountered by the foreman who leads and manages group of people. This study is conducted in TADECO, was participated by (7) seven foremen, who rendered more than 5 years of service in the said organization. This study reveals the experiences of foremen as they perform the task assigned to them by the company. Additionally, the study explores the specific challenges faced by foremen which are lack of manpower, employee behavior, equipment deficiencies, and sense of demotivation, and identifies coping mechanisms they employed to overcome these challenges which are faith to God, open communication, teamwork and optimism which contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of foremen in the agricultural sector and provides valuable insights for improving the operational efficiency in banana plantations. Life as a foreman is hard, there are challenges and struggles that will amaze, help and teach them in the best way it could. People cannot live life without problems, conflicts exist to test our abilities, that will make us discover new ideas that will mold us into a better version of our selves. We are the drivers of our own lives, the way we control the steering wheel, we may turn left or turn right, might have temporary pauses but still continue to explore the route for the fuel tank might get low or even empty but there are several refilling stations that will allow us to be replenished. And eventually resume in the venture forth on our individual voyages.
