This study sought to evaluate the financial literacy levels of indigenous people in Barangay Tagpopongan and explore potential disparities based on demographic factors. A population sampling technique was used to collect data from 298 respondents. Mean and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were employed to analyze the data. A 5-point Likert scale survey instrument, adapted from Binobo et al. (2019), was used to assess financial literacy. Findings indicated a generally high level of financial literacy among respondents. The majority were young adults with low income and education levels. While respondents demonstrated strong financial knowledge and saving habits, spending habits were less developed. No significant gender differences in financial literacy were observed. However educational attainment and family income significantly influenced financial literacy levels. The study recommends the development of tailored financial literacy programs to address the specific needs and cultural context of indigenous communities.
