Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the feasibility and challenges of Luntiang Pangkabuhayan sa ating bakuran technology transfer, as well as its significance. The research was conducted through an In-depth interview with ten (10) participants in Gawad Kalinga Nanyo Panabo City. The data collected in this qualitative phenomenological study were based on the responses to the three research questions of with (IDI) conversations with insights from participants to understand the question of (1) What are the perceptions and challenges of Gawad Kalinga Nanyo household about Luntiang Pangkabuhayan sa ating bakuran? (2) What are adaptive and effective strategies applicable to Luntiang Pangkabuhayan sa ating bakuran? (3) What are the key takeaways or lessons learn? Hence, the researcher secures the consent letter to conduct interviews, the researcher uses research questionnaire; the participants answer in one-on-one interview and focus group discussions to explore shared experiences and perspectives the revision and uses transcript to analyze the data. The study shows the challenges encountered by G.K household in Backyard gardening such as Limited knowledge and skills, Limited resources, and Time. Household participants acknowledge the challenges and create adaptations and effectives strategies to create sustainable livelihood in their communities.
