Budgetary control and the financial performance of Marsman Drysdale Panabo Agri-Ventures, Incorporated Company (MD PAVI)

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the relationship between budgetary control and financial performance of Marsman Drysdale, Panabo Agri-Ventures, Incorporated. This company consists of 103 employees and they are the respondents of this research. This study utilizes the descriptive-correlation method and random sampling in determining the number of respondents along with the mean and Pearson-r as a statistical tool. Moreover, results revealed that the level of Budgetary Control of Marsman Drysdale Panabo Agri-Venture incorporated in terms of budget planning, budget control and budget coordination analysis was very high and yielded a grand mean of 4.70. For the level of financial performance Marsman Drysdale Panabo Agri-Venture incorporated, it garnered a very satisfactory result in terms of financial performance a 4.68 grand mean. Result revealed a significant relationship between budgetary control and financial performance of Marsman Drysdale Panabo Agri-Venture incorporated. The result yielded an r-value of 0.784 and a P-value of 0.000, which was less than a 0.05 level of significance. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected.
