Abstract
In recent years, research has focused on some approaches that are believed to produce more immediate results in reducing crime rates. Crime prevention, in truth, is preventing crime before it happens. Therefore, this method is one of the most appropriate to save environment, fund and time which in turn, will improve the quality of human life. This article seeks to evaluate the objectives and assessment of crime prevention by designing strategies addressing sustainable development namely crime prevention approaches. The study makes use of available sources and data from previous studies and research. It argues that a secure and sustainable community must be defined by its image of a healthy community.
