Effect of distance learning to the teaching effectiveness among UM professors : a work from home setting

This study aims to determine the effects of distance learning to the teaching effectiveness among um professors: a work from home setting. Quantitative method was employed in this study. There were 100 respondents who were involved in this study. Analysis of the variance was utilized as the statistical tool. It was revealed in this study that by every indicator of the Delivering Classes, Instructional Communication and Prompt Feedback shows no significant differences in respondents profiles. On the other hand, Consultation Availability has significant differences in respondents profile when grouped according to there age. In terms of Delivering Classes, Instructional Communication, and Prompt Feedback original hypothesis are accepted. The overall mean of product Delivering Classes, Instructional Communication, Prompt Feedback and Consultation Availability all indicators are high. Define that the effectiveness of distance learning helps the student to learn even in virtual spaces. Teachers are still effective in imparting the lessons to the students. It also indicates that teachers are still giving their best in delivering classes in virtual space, providing virtual instruction via LMS, still allowing students to have feedback about their outputs and teachers have been giving time to the student for consultations.
