Abstract
Water is indispensable for human survival and crucial for maintaining health and sustaining life in urban and rural areas. While urban regions have seen advancements in water supply technology ensuring continuous access to clean water, rural areas often rely on outdated methods like natural spring collection. This reliance impedes economic growth and exacerbates the gap between urban and rural regions. Advocates are addressing this gap by examining water characteristics in Manay, Davao Oriental, focusing on Barangay Central. The aim is to design and implement a Level III water distribution system tailored to local needs. Researchers are developing three system designs, considering economy and efficiency using advanced engineering applications and region-specific data. This initiative will produce comprehensive deliverables, including hydraulic analysis, engineering design, and cost estimates for the selected water distribution system. By incorporating advanced technologies, the project seeks to provide clean water access, stimulate socio-economic development, and improve residents' quality of life in Barangay Central and its neighboring areas. Keywords: – Hydraulic Analysis, Detailed Engineering Design, Detailed Unit Price Analysis SDG Indicator: #6 (Clean Water and Sanitation
