The current study assessed how Wattpad was used as a literary writing software by students under 18 in Tagum City public schools. Researchers discovered that, while Wattpad is beneficial in terms of vocabulary and grammar, it is harmful to pupils since, once immersed in the world of Wattpad stories, it consumes the majority of their time. As a result of this dangerous practice, students tend to deprive self-sleep, delay, and miss meals. Not only that, but it also demonstrates that many Wattpad stories contain sexual situations that are unsuitable for minors. Participants in this study are all high school students from Tagum City who have been using Wattpad for at least three years. In both the IDI and FGD, we randomly chose 17 high school girls. Given the app's popularity, future researchers should look into it more, especially as it is accessible for people of all ages. Minors may accidentally bump into themes that require parental counsel at a young age if not adequately monitored and guided.
