Abstract
Amidst the Pandemic, online transaction is the most efficient way to deal with the transaction that requires face to face. The elderly are having a hard time keeping up with the technology in this generation. This study was carried out to gather the thoughts of the elderly towards the transition from traditional face-to-face into online transactions among the elderly of Tagum City, Davao del Norte. Fourteen participants ranged from 55 to 68 years old. Data gathering was executed from November to December 2021. The information was collected through two separate interviews during the data gathering: the individual and the focus group discussion. The majority of the participants agreed and were willing to keep up with the transition. The participants in favor of the change slowly adopted the current generation's technologies. The navigation of the mobile gadgets was a headache for the elderly. Given the finding of this research, the researcher hopes to encourage future researchers to investigate further the interest of the elders to keep up with the current generation.
