Error analysis on student's oral recitation

This study aimed to determine the common errors committed by the students during oral recitation and their ways to control the errors. This study employed phenomenological approach and it was done by gathering data from respondents through the interview processes and guide questions that evaluate errors by using English language. The results revealed that the common errors of the students are conjunction, filler word, and redundant expression, wrong choice of words, noun phrase, complex word, verb, prepositional phrase, wrong phrase, article, contraction and informal colloquial.
