Safety and security among tourism events in Tagum City

This study sought to evaluate and determine the safety and security of tourism events in Tagum City. The quantitative non-experimental design was used in the study. The respondents of the study were the 150 local residents of Tagum City. Mean is the statistical tool employed to interpret the data gathered. The findings of the study revealed a very high level of safety and security among the tourism events in Tagum City. It was also revealed that legal protection of tourist has the highest mean among five indicators followed by personal data safety, health and sanitation, public safety and political security. The result of the study confirmed that there was a very high level of safety and security among tourism events in Tagum City.
