dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the study was to determine the level morale of public elementary school teachers in Malabog District and its difference when analyzed by moderator variables, namely: age, gender, civil status, length of service and position. Morale indicators were school leadership, workload, pay or salary, students' behavior and professional development. The study made use of descriptive-comparative research design which examined carefully the similarities and differences among several variables. It was established in the study that the level of morale of public elementary school teachers in all indicators are generally high and that there was no significant difference between the morale of public elementary school teachers when analyzed by moderator variables. The results of this study will become a springboard in conceptualizing revitalization of professional life to enhance teachers' morale. It was suggested that DepED officials should conduct strategic planning through workshops and conferences on capacitating the school heads to establish a learning environment where teachers' morale can continually be developed. Likewise, the school heads may also explore ideas and techniques on how they can serve as instruments to level up the teachers' morale. Teachers should find ways on how to face positively the factors that hinder in achieving high morale. | en_US |
