This study was conducted to determine the satisfaction of the residents of Barangay Rizal, Bansalan Davao del Sur on community-oriented policing. The researchers aim to determine the relationship between the satisfaction of the residents in Barangay Rizal on community-oriented policing. The study was conducted using the descriptive correlation method. The researchers administered personally the questionnaire to the chosen residents of Barangay Rizal, Bansalan Davao del Sur with 260 participants. The study resulted in data and findings to determine the satisfaction of the residents of Barangay Rizal, Bansalan Davao del Sur on community-oriented policing and was strongly agreed. The significant relationship between the satisfaction of the residents in Barangay Rizal on community -oriented policing was tested below 0.05 level of significance. Based on the findings and conclusions the researchers would recommend that the members of the Philippine National Police must be properly oriented and trained on the process of implementing community-oriented policing through skills training and advanced schooling. In order for the residents to be more satisfied in community-oriented policing, the Philippine National Police, with coordination of the local barangay officials and in partnership with the barangay tanod, must frequently conduct foot and mobile patrol in the community, and they must provide proper and adequate skills training to the members of the Barangay Peace Action Team or Barangay tanod. Furthermore, police outposts must be manned at all times, especially on locations that are deemed to be high in criminality.
