Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the effects of online games to the social behavior of players in UM Bansalan College. The researchers aim to determine the extent effect of online games to their social behavior. The study was conducted using the descriptive-correlation method of research by which the researchers personally administered the questionnaires to the students with the sample size of 50 students as the respondents. The study resulted in data gathering and findings determined that the extent of the effect of online games in terms of emotional behavior, aggressive behavior, prosocial behavior and the group action behavior is high. The significant difference between the effect of online games to the social behavior of players in UMBC was tested below 0.05 level of significance. There is no significant difference between the effect of online games to the social behavior of players when analyzed by demographic profile. Based on the findings and conclusions, the researchers recommended that the UMBC administration must conduct group counselling and orientation to the gamers and the professor must guide, discipline, and educate the students about the effect of online games on social behavior.
