This study entitled Employee Empowerment and Employee Commitment
in Camp Holiday Beach and Recreation Area in the Island Garden City of Samal
was conducted to determine the significant relationship between employee
empowerment and employee commitment of Camp Holiday Beach and
Recreation Area in the Island Garden City of Samal. This study used the
quantitative correlational descriptive research design. In analyzing the data,
Mean and Pearson r were used. The researchers utilized an adapted
questionnaire. In a survey, a questionnaire is the primary research instrument
consisting of questions for Camp Holiday Beach Resort employees. Results
revealed that the level of Employee Empowerment in Camp Holiday Beach
Resort resulted with a descriptive level of very high. The level of Employee
Commitment resulted in a descriptive level of very high. The overall computed rvalue
between Employee empowerment and Employee Commitment was -0.946,
which means there is no significant relationship between them. The researchers
concluded that the study revealed that Employee Empowerment in Camp
Holiday Beach Resort was always manifested. Additionally, the level of Employee
Commitment was very high, which means that it is always manifested in Camp
Holiday Beach Resort. The study also revealed no significant relationship
between Employee Empowerment and Employee Commitment.
