dc.description.abstract | Farmers and Fishermen are one of those people having a low level of income earned in our country especially here in Island Garden City of Samal. The study assessed the savings pattern among farmers and fishermen in Brgy. Aumbay and Brgy. Balet in Island Garden City of Samal. The statistical tools employed were descriptive statistics especially: frequency and percentage. The data was gathered through the use of survey questionnaires distributed to 163 farmers in Brgy. Aumbay and 68 fishermen in Brgy. Balet. Results showed that the savings pattern of both respondent are varies to each other and they tend less to save due to their income. Moreover, farmers tend to save than fishermen. Farmers save most of them in physical asset than to the fishermen. Farmers also tend to save in financial asset than to fishermen. Furthermore, both respondents same of saving less on their own and not having a bank deposit in certain bank. | en_US |
